
Different Types of Pythons
Hello. I would like to get an idea of the general feeling around here about crossing different types of pythons, such as Murray Darling with a Bredli or a Bredli with a Woma - and about any existing regulations regarding this issue. Is this a very big No-No here in Australia, or would it be considered as worth a try? Thinking of snakes being increasingly kept as loved and pampered pets rather than being released back to nature, and comparing them with other companion pets such as cats and dogs, this question seems to be justified.
So, is the creation of a broad range of interesting python varieties with distinct features (such as in dog breeds)
1) being encouraged or tolerated, or
2) is it a taboo to even speak about it, or
